Loss of work due to injuries in industrial environments?

Are you taking proper care of your workers’ postures? Did you know that poor posture is one of the leading causes of work-related absences? According to a health news report from the NERTA platform on Risk Prevention, one of the biggest problems affecting companies is the number of absences due to injuries directly related to the job. The figures are staggering. Quoting directly: “36.5% of workers were on leave during the first nine months of 2023, a figure that exceeds pre-pandemic records.”

These disorders stem from issues related to musculoskeletal conditions caused by the lack of proper ergonomic equipment or long working hours. As a result, not only do absences increase, but productivity rates also decrease.

In this scenario, the worker is directly affected by having to endure long hours with very uncertain regulations regarding this issue. Indirectly, the company also suffers the consequences of not providing adequate measures due to the absence of staff or injured personnel.

We know that prevention is better than cure. Therefore, with this text, we encourage you to watch the following video where with the use of artificial intelligence in ergonomics-related applications we explian the importance of these type of solutions…
